  Sunshine Coast Designs would like to welcome Lorinda Carter to our team:

Lorinda is a WAHM (Work at Home Mom) who lives with her wonderful husband in the Chilliwack Area of BC.  Lorinda has an adorable one year old daughter who means the world to her, and two young step children she loves dearly.  She has had a passion for art her whole life and has always wanted a career in this field.  Lorinda's main passion though is her daughter so it was essential that she be able to have a job that she could do from home.  Robyn Robinson of Sunshine Coast Designs was finding that she needed to offer her graphics customers a personalized touch that only hand drawn graphics could offer.  Robyn and Lorinda have known each other, as best friends, for the past 13 years since Lorinda had lived in Powell River for over 10years. Robyn knew how talented Lorinda was and the passion she had for her art work so they decided to team up to offer their customers a wider range of high quality, personalized and affordable services.

A Bit About Us

Sunshine Coast Designs opened their doors in January of 2004.  Previous to this I ran and still run another web design business catering to home based business' run by work at home moms.  Bizzy Mom's Web Design started to grow into a web and graphic design business.  After being up and running for approximately three years I started to "outgrow" my original plan and started to receive requests for other business sites, non-profit societies, and the demand for graphic work and photo manipulation grew.  I needed to establish a more professional image and combine these services into one central place and so SCD was born.  The name fit it all.  I also chose the name as I have lived my whole life on the beautiful Sunshine Coast of British Columbia, Canada.  I reside in Powell River with my children and our dog.  My life revolves around my family, animals and my work.
